FRIED
GLUTINOUS RICE

300g glutinous rice

1 Chinese sausage (sliced)

1 liver sausage (sliced)

30g dried shrimp (washed)

6 dried shiitake mushrooms (soaked, softened and sliced)

2 ChangHoSek braised abalone
-
50g shallots (minced)
-
1 tablespoon oil
-
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
-
1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
-
2 tablespoon shao xing wine
-
2 teaspoon sesame oil
-
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
-
100ml water and 50ml water from soaked mushrooms

Pepper to taste

Spring onion for garnishing

Wash and soak 300g glutinous rice overnight.

​Mix rice, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and hot water in a bowl.

Heat oil in a non stick pan, add dried shrimp, shallot and fry till fragrant.

Add mushrooms and sausages and stir fry.

Add shao xing wine and rice mixture.

Mix and stir until water absorbs

Transfer rice in a steamer, add abalone on top and steam for 15-20 minutes until cook.
